This dress was created for the exhibition Plasticulture: The Rise of Sustainable Practices with Polymers at the School of Visual Arts Gallery, an exhibition I curated in Chelsea, NY. The dress is covered with hand-cut sequins made from post-consumer plastic that were stitched to a repurposed satin wedding dress liner. Modeled below by Ona Coles.
