Permanent State Percent-for-Art commission at SMCM. Suspended interior sculpture comprised of 24 individual sculptures. Lover’s Spat responds to eco-remediation initiatives at SMCM with the Virginica Crassostrea oyster. Gratitude to art studio assistants Robie Driscoll and Connor Joseph Labar, as well as Kevin Graham & Coles Driscoll, for expert installation. Lover’s Spat was commissioned by St. Mary’s College of Maryland and is part of their permanent collection.
